Flood damge occurs when the seats, carpets, etc. of a vehiclels' interior gets extremely wet or large amounts of a liquid are spilled inside - if left to dry on its own an odorous smell will develop. Generally, all the interior must be dismantled in a flood damaged interior, which means removal of the seats, consoles, carpets, etc. and since the jute backing is made from organic cotton and retains smells it will be replaced with new material. The carpet and seats are then throughly power washed, shampooed and deodorized to remove odors and left to air dry. The interior will then be reassembled and cleaned a final time to ensure that all odors have been removed.
Specially formulated for high traffic auto interiors, stainproofing is a preventative service for keeping the vehicle's interior clean. Sprayed under pressure stainproofing is directly applied to all interior fabric: carpets, floormats, seats, seatbelts, door panels, headliner and sun visors. As the spray penetrates the fabric it creates a protective barrier, on the surface, that helps repel moisture and food soils to give you more time to blot up unexpected spills and accidents. Stainproofing will not change the color or texture of the fabric and allows the fabric to be cleaned easier. Since stainproofing is not ordnarly done at the factory it is recommended that the fabric be treated when the vehicle is new and the interior clean. Stainproofing is strongly suggested for light colored interiors and families with small children. So keep your interior new looking with a professional stainproofing.
Created by jet and combustion engines, railroads, heavy manufacturing areas, etc., industrial fallout, or rail dust, is made up of minute ferrous metal particles. On a vehicles' painted surface these contaminants look like small rust specks and, if not removed, can permanently bond to the paint surface. This bonding can cause the fallout to corrode and etch the paint, severly damaging it. Fallout is found, not just on new vehicles, butalso on vehicles that are exposed to any polluted area. It is recommended that industrial fallout be professionaly removed before any waxing or paint sealant is applied.
Most car waxes today are compounds that are designed to provide a surface shine to the vehicles' paint for a brief amount of time. The first step, in a professional 2-stage wax service is to remove, from the paint, build-ups such as soap scum, minor oxidation or water spotting with a microfine compound. After this initial cleaning step the vehicle is coated with a commercial grade wax that produces a shine and gives added protection against the environment, temporarily.
